Well we know who the ABC will back and it’s not the libs

Tas liberals had to manage Covid this way as the health system is so poor. I doubt Labor would have managed COVID much differently in terms of borders so 🤷🏻‍♀️

Auckland airport tests positive for COVID-19, but Jacinda Ardern doesn't expect it to affect trans-Tasman travel bubbleA day after the trans-Tasman travel bubble opens, a worker at Auckland airport tests positive for coronavirus, but Australian and New Zealand officials have been communicating and the case is not expected to shut down travel between the two countries. Borders shutting in 3,2,1.... The bubble goes pop immediately? That's the trouble with bubbles - they have a tendency to burst. And half the NZ population were opposed to opening the border with Aust so this new case will give fuel to their doubts. gardenerofearth

Tasmanian election: Labor concedes defeatLabor leader Rebecca White said the Tasmanian election results reflect the trend of Australian voters favouring incumbent governments for their handling of the COVID-19 pandemic. Not a surprising result. An island of idiots. tasvotes Why is a publicly funded broadcaster supporting Labor again. Tasmania voted and SBS have no right to support Labor. Taxpayer money being wasted. jenp6 You know if Labor want to actually be the Government in Tasmania at some stage they would do well to stop their silly posturing of 'only governing in majority Govt' They should be more mature and co-operate with Greens and Indies like ACT Labor do.

Tasmanian election: Peter Gutwein claims victory for Liberals, but unclear if party will govern in majorityLabor leader Rebecca White said the Tasmanian election results reflect the trend of Australian voters favouring incumbent governments for their handling of the COVID-19 pandemic. Well while still sitting at a minority Govt until Clark is finished counting - I do hope they continue to keep Covid-19 out because, if we’ve learnt anything this election, the health system in Tasmania won’t cope with an outbreak. I’d hate to be growing old in Tasmania 😢

COVID is not ‘the one issue’ to decide the Tasmanian election: Rebecca White | Sky News AustraliaTasmanian Opposition Leader Rebecca White told Sky News COVID-19 is not the single issue which will decide the state election since jobs, affordable housing and healthcare are also in focus. \n\n“That’s certainly not the one issue that people are raising with me every single day and it’s certainly been this way for a while now,” she said.\n\n“Tasmania’s been fortunate to be an island off the beautiful big island that we haven’t had the same sort of outbreaks of COVID that you’ve experienced there, so people here have been focused on other issues.\n\n“It is about access to affordable housing, it is about whether they can get a job, it is about whether they can access healthcare and they are the issues that people, I believe, will be voting on tomorrow.' \n
