Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky applauded the US decision on Twitter as “a powerful decision” that would mark “an important step on the path to victory”. Russia’s ambassador to Germany, Sergei Nechayev, said Mr Scholz’s decision was “extremely dangerous” and “takes the conflict to a new level of confrontation”.
“With spring approaching, Ukrainian forces are working to defend the territory they hold and preparing for additional counter-offensives to liberate their land,” Mr Biden said.
Well, lets hope it makes the difference. Ukrainians have little experience with Western tanks. Best tanks alone don’t make the difference it’s the men operating it.
