The NSW Government today released the plans, which include reducing the stadium’s capacity from 85,500 to 70,000, for public comment.The plans include changing the playing field from an oval to a rectangular shape.

How come the colluseuim is still standing?
Post Olympics $80 million was spent on what we have today, which was fairly substantial at the time (the end wing stands removed, movable seating and roofs added). now they're saying it's going to cost over 10 times that amount for a fairly similar outcome. seems legit, eh🤔
Dont they build anything to last ? They made tourist pay a levy to build this for the Olympics
