Sabry Moustafa Nassar is denied bail after a court hears he lied about his history of epileptic seizures to obtain a licence and then went on to drive into a crowded shop earlier this year, injuring 14 people.

The driver who ploughed his car into a crowded hijab shop in Western Sydney lied about his medical history to obtain a licence, a court has heard.He did not seek testing for epilepsy at the time despite doctor's ordersSabry Moustafa Nassar, 51, was denied bail for a third time when he appeared in prison greens on screen today at the NSW Supreme Court from a cell at Silverwater jail.

The court heard Mr Nassar suffered his first "unprovoked seizure" in front of a friend on September 26, 2013. Justice Michael Walton described that evidence as "inconclusive" and "ancient" but relevant to his decision to refuse bail. Justice Walton said he wasn't satisfied Mr Nassar wouldn't get behind the wheel again given his job as a painter and continued to pose "an endangerment to the community".

Good... keep him locked up as he obviously needs to be taught a very harsh lesson that will scare him from ever doing something so stupid ever again. They can also get doctors to properly diagnose his seizures while he's in prison so he can no longer lie about it...
