Former New South Wales Premier Bob Carr says the Berejiklian government’s eastern suburbs light rail is ‘a bad project’ that replaces ‘a perfectly adequate bus service’. Mr Carr says the project should have been finished in four years, but instead it has stalled, showng that they’re attempting to retrofit a light rail service that isn’t suitable. The light rail is expected to finish in May 2020, a year behind schedule.
