Sweden recorded its highest death tally in 150 years for the first half of 2020, according to the country's official statistics office. 9News

Despite the more relaxed approach, only 7.3 per cent of people in Stockholm had developed the antibodies needed to fight the disease by late April - well below the 70-90 per cent needed for herd immunity.By early June, the country's coronavirus death toll was at more than 4,500. According to Johns Hopkins University, it now stands at 5,802.

In an interview with CNN's Christiane Amanpour in July, Tegnell again defended the country's approach. "I think that we still believe the strategy has served us very well in many different aspects," he said.People enjoy themselves at a lakeside beach in Stockholm, capital of Sweden, on Aug. 9, 2020. "It is very dangerous to believe face masks would change the game when it comes to Covid-19," Tegnell told the Financial Times.

Very nice, Trying to dispel the Sweden model and keep up the tyrannical approach

Isn't that virtually the same for the rest of the world? Why just pick on Sweden? How about looking at the whole of 2020, not just the first half

Disgraceful presstitutes at nine, should be ashamed to call yourselves journalisrs. See the real figures adjusted to account for population growth.

Lol, most of the infected are Somali 'New Swedes '

Wow, what a fake news headline. Sweden's population is also the highest it has been in 150 years.

Is this amongst the blood indigenous Swedes, also known as the Sami people? Or the non-indigenous Swedes such as the foreign blood Germans bred in Sweden, now pretending to be Swedes and not German Swedes?
