A male student has been taken to hospital in a serious condition with chest injuries after a stabbing incident at Rosewood State High School, west of Brisbane.
Authorities said three students were involved in the incident that happened just after 11.30am, with the school placed into lockdown. Queensland Ambulance Service said one boy was taken to the Queensland Children's Hospital in Brisbane after suffering significant chest injuries.It is unclear what sparked the incident or what type of weapon was used.
Anxious parents waited outside the school to retrieve their children after the lockdown was declared.
