When the coronavirus pandemic took hold in March, Rowjana Bori's parents flew some of their children, studying in Sydney, back to Papua New Guinea.
"I was hoping to be able to go back to Sydney in June but because of the travel restrictions I wasn't allowed, which was a bit disappointing," said the 18-year-old, who studied at St Catherine's from year 7. "I had to show my teachers under my table and my whole space and all my papers I would be writing on," she said. "They sent me the papers five minutes before the exam and I would print it out in front of them."
