Sky News host Paul Murray says the stress, strain, isolation, loneliness and pressure as a result of the second wave that did not need to happen in Victoria “has killed people”.

He said the new finding from the coroners court revealed more people have taken their life in Victoria to September than over the entirety of last year. Of the 530 people who have taken their own life in Victoria, 391 were men and 139 women. "This is the reality of a lockdown that starts in July, the second time around, and still has effectively not ended in Victoria," he said.
