Melbourne Storm debutant Paul Momirovski was on the verge of completing the dream first half at his new club. ...Until this happened. 😂😂😂 9WWOS NRL

He may have notched a double in his first half in Storm colours, but it didn't all quite go to plan for Melbourne's Paul Momirovski against the NZ Warriors.

Playing his first match after arriving at the Storm courtesy of swap deal that saw Harry Grant go the opposite way to the Wests Tigers, Momirovski scored tries in the 12th and 31st minute to help the Storm to a 22-0 half-time lead at Jubilee Stadium. However, it was after his 31st minute try where the 23-year-old inadvertently took out legendary rugby league photographer Gregg Porteous. After planting the ball, Momirovski jogged across the sideline only to lose his footing and ended up falling and kicking the snapper who was kneeling in the corner.

"Oooh, would have been a good photo there," commentator Corey Parker said during the Fox Sports broadcast. NRL reporter Matt Russell said Porteous was "nursing a cork" after Momirovski's slip-up, "but he's just told me it's nothing that a trip to the pub won't fix."
