abc.net.au/news/cat-containment-push-drives-demand-for-outdoor-pet-enclosures/101516610Enclosures are a way to keep pet cats contained while still letting them have time outside, and a business providing the enclosures says demand for their work is booming.
"We love enclosures from the point of view that it keeps the cat safe and it keeps local wildlife safe … they're not out killing the native wildlife," he said. He is an advocate for making such enclosures affordable but has had a job worth about $10,000, which was completed using mood boards and with the help of an interior designer."That goes through a whole design process.

Cats should never have been introduced to Australia. Now hoping that more councils and shires introduce similar bylaws.
We have cat-netted our entire backyard. They can run around freely inside the yard or come into the house as they choose. They are safe and the wildlife is too.

Great to see increasing numbers of people valuing their pets.
Fantastic! Safe cat, safe wildlife!
Only use for cats is to catch mice on a farm. Useless, pathetic animals.
This article doesn't say whether these cats are sterilised or not...it they are sterilised and well fed they wouldn't wonder about as they are territorial... cats should be kept inside at night for their own protection... but yes contained cats in a cage is cruel !
What a cruel life for a cat
