Stars stun at huge Aussie premiere

Chris Hemsworth and his wife, Elsa, were among the stars to come out in force for Thursday night’s premiere of the new Mad Max movie Sydney ’s State Theatre provided a glamorous setting for the red carpet premiere of the film, which was shot in the outback here in Australia .

Hemsworth, who plays the villain the highly-anticipated action thriller, was also joined by co-star Anya Taylor-Joy, who stars in the movie’s titular role as Furiosa. Furiosa follows Taylor-Joy’s character as she seeks revenge for trauma inflicted by the cruel Dementus, played brilliantly against type by Hemsworth, who has spent years playing the superhero Thor.
