Jessica Fox has been gathering world championship titles for years, but three Olympics in she is yet to strike gold.

“I’m not sure if it was hearing that the time was a 105 and I’d done a 103 in the semis that made me feel like, 'OK, it’s within reach, I can just keep it flowing, keep it smooth,'" she said.“I guess it just wasn’t my day.”Fox is regarded internationally as the best paddler in the world and she looked unbeatable after the semi-final.
