.Spotify has suffered an outage this morning, quickly sending music lovers around the world into an online panic. 7NEWS

The outage was the second in two weeks for Spotify, which issued an identical status update on January 14 and announced it “ran into a slight hiccup”.Despite the most recent Spotify outage also lasting just hours, subscribers accustomed to filling the silence with personally curated tunes were quick to spiral into an online panic.

“About to attempt washing the dishes without Spotify like it’s 1699. Wish me luck,” one subscriber said. “Spotify is leaving me with nothing but my thoughts and imagination right now, and I’m scared,” another said. “OH NO!! Spotify is down!!
