's plan to return spaceflight capabilities to the United States is a step closer after a SpaceX rocket successfully launched from Florida on a mission to dock with the International Space Station. The Crew Dragon capsule, which could soon ferry astronauts to the orbiting lab in place of Russian Soyuz spacecraft, launched atop a Falcon 9 rocket on Saturday, carrying a sensor-laden dummy named Ripley.
