A Southern Cross University campus on the state's north coast is in emergency lockdown and a police operation is under way after an allegedly threatening phone call.
Officers from Richmond Police District and specialist resources were called to the Lismore campus on Tuesday afternoon after the phone call was made to the university.Emergency services have received no reports of injuries and there have been no sightings of any potential perpetrators.About 2pm Southern Cross University issued a statement on Facebook announcing the emergency lockdown.
"Police are currently on-site and all students and staff are advised to remain inside until given the all-clear. Anyone planning to visit the campus at present should postpone."
