South Australia has recorded its first death from COVID–19, with a man in his 70s dying at the Royal Adelaide Hospital overnight.

He was being treated in the hospital's intensive care unit."The family has asked that their privacy is respected at this time.", including 10 people in intensive care, all at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, in Adelaide's CBD.
