Coming to a foreign country with limited English and no contacts, Ms Lhamo initially struggled to adapt. Ms Lhamo has worked multiple jobs to not only support herself but to sponsor her husband, Ven Drakpa Gyaltsen, to come to Australia."Australia is a really good and amazing country and I love all the people I've met."The couple have bought their first home together in Perth's southern suburb of Warnbro and are planning to open a Tibetan restaurant soon. She said she loved caring for people at the nursing home as it meant she could give back to the community she now calls her own.
Great story of someone making a life fir themselves with the opportunities given them and good luck to them. Sad to think we have people born here who won’t take advantage of the many opportunities afforded them.
It’s good somebody is living the ‘Aussie dream’.

Is today refugee day at ABC with all these refugee stories? Anything to start the boats up again from the national crapcaster.

sounds like another version of american dream, but definitely it's not everyone's dream who live in tibet now as tibetan knows karma well

What about Oz were forced to take covid jabs? Go to hell, ABC
