Ellyse Perry's future as Australia's match-winning all-rounder has become a discussion point for Australia's brains trust | wutube SMHsport

Ellyse Perry's future as Australia's match-winning all-rounder has become a discussion point for Australia's brains trust – but there are no plans yet to scale back her commitments with the ball despite her injury setback.

The plan remains to have her come back as an all-rounder, but the possibility of not having her due to injury must be a sobering thought for selectors as they head towards the 2022 World Cup. "We’ve got some really exciting all-rounders, but Ellyse can hold her spot as a batter or bowler and that's for me the definition of a genuine all-rounder and they don't come along too often. Desperately hope we can get her back as a genuine all-rounder."Mott said the question of whether Perry should continue as an all-rounder was "something we talk about a lot". Highlighting her value, Perry is ranked third in the ODI world batting charts and fifth for bowling.

Insults, hyperbole 'not a dignified look' for American public discourse | Sky News AustraliaCentre for Independent Studies’ Tom Switzer says the first of the US presidential debates was, in many respects, an indictment of American public discourse.\n\n“It was sound and fury except it was not signifying nothing it was signifying something – and that is a depressing debate spectacle,” Mr Switzer told Sky News host Alan Jones.\n\n“The insults, the interruptions, the hyperbole, endless crossover talks, it was not a dignified look.\n\n“In many respects this was an indictment of American public discourse.”\n ~Poor old Joe, got eaten up by Trump. But trump has no choice. he is out there saving America and indeed the world. He cannot let the demoncrap army get in the way and if Joe is going to go full librtard then he can expect more from Trump. I have just finished watching the full debate. I thought it was a good debate. Some things could have been better. As President Trump pointed out early he was having to debate the moderator as well as Biden so that evened up a bit later on.
