Sky News host Rowan Dean criticizes the Canberra government for being out of touch with mainstream Australia, particularly during the Voice campaign. He argues that the government's perspective on issues such as the situation in Gaza differs greatly from that of the rest of the nation.

Sky News host Rowan Dean says the Canberra government is “completely out of touch” with mainstream Australia.

Mr Dean said during the Voice campaign, the ACT, Canberra government and bureaucrats were “out of touch”. “They think the complete opposite of what mainstream Australia says,” Mr Dean told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.“You can guarantee that for example … if we had a government in Canberra that was deciding to what ‘the truth is’ … I reckon it’d be a pretty safe bet … that they would see things occurring in Gaza from a very different light to how the rest of the nation does.”
