Vote Now: The BEST five-eighth of the last 3️⃣ decades is .... ❓

The NRL.com newsroom has narrowed the race to be the best five-eighth down to a shortlist of 10.

As he played the vast majority of his career in the No.7 jersey, Cowboys legend Johnathan Thurston is not in the five-eighth poll but Darren Lockyer, who was also in the fullback race, has been included as his efforts in both positions were enough to rank him in the top 10 in both categories.

Lockyer

Hail king Lockyer 👑💪

Matty Johns should be in for Trent Barrett

Why would I vote in this poll when you don't have the best one - Terry Lamb?

I'm taking Cliffy. As naturally a gifted ball player as I've ever seen.

Lockyer is behind Fitler, Lyons, and Daley on this list- he’s a 1 not a 6. He played all of his best footy there and changed late to facilitate Slater. For him to be above Cliff Lyons is ridiculous, if you were able to watch him play.

Freddy

Benji. You all know this. This isn't even a debate.

This was tough, voted Locky. Just nudged out Fittler by the length of Donald Trumps hands.

Darren Lockyer

Brad Fittler

Peter Coyne from the Dragons

Brad Fittler was the best! ..No voting needed as most probably never watched him.

Brad Fittler

Matt Moylan.

Prince Locky
