The actor – who came under fire in recent days after ex-girlfriend FKA Twigs accused him of abuse – stepped out to grab some grub at LA’s Cava wearing a mask with “Love Me Like You Hate Me” printed on it.
The mask is a piece of merchandise from the NSFW short-film music video LaBeouf and actress Margaret Qualley shot for Rainsford’s song with that title. Rainsford is the stage name for Qualley’s sister, Rainey Qualley. Shia LaBeouf is pictured wearing a face mask that reads ‘Love Me Like You Hate Me’ Picture: Snorlax /Marksman/MEGA“It’s filled with love and pain and tenderness and rage and real pieces of my heart,” Rainsford wrote at the time of its release.
It was the first time LaBeouf, 34, has been spotted since Twigs, 32, sued him over their allegedly abusive relationship. It’s unclear if LaBeouf was trying to send a message by wearing this mask, or if he simply grabbed the first one he had, but as a performance artist, it’s more likely the former.
