Firefighter insists he was sacked for anti-PM rant after NSW RFS denies claimA volunteer firefighter, whose expletive-ridden attack on Prime Minister Scott Morrison went viral, maintains he was taken off duty as a result of the rant, but the New South Wales Rural Fire Service has repeatedly denied he was dismissed. After seeing him last night, I would suggest he has been - in reality- sacked, with management speak doing a gaslight. They may not have “terminated” his position, perhaps “indefinitely furloughed”. Fallout, duck and cover. Only went viral because the media shared it, because it supported your views. Never trust the mainstream media, not ever.

'Systemic unlawfulness': 88 per cent of NSW Police searches found nothingPolice found nothing in 88 per cent of the 211,000 personal searches conducted under the force's quota-based system in 2018, prompting concerns the regime is leading to an abuse of police powers to meet targets. And 12% found drugs stuck up botties or fannys, knives and other illegal stuff. Quite good, really. NSW Police keeping us safe. The do gooders prevent police from just targeting the other 12% that are up to no good. So everyone gets searched. That’s the fault of the do gooders. I’m cool with being searched. I have nothing to hide. We should aspire towards 99% find nothing.
