Police have launched a major search operation for a missing man in regional Queensland, combing bushland, creeks and nearby towns to find the 28-year-old.

Queensland Police released a statement on Saturday afternoon, confirming a search operation was underway in nearby towns and bushland to find Mr Fergusson.
