Senator Linda Reynolds accused of attempting to ‘coach’ defence lawyers in cross-examination of Brittany Higgins

Senator Linda Reynolds has been accused of attempting to “coach” defence lawyers during the cross-examination of her former staffer Brittany Higgins and inappropriately seeking to obtain transcripts of her evidence prior to coming to court.

Reynolds, the court heard, had also texted defence barrister, Steven Whybrow, while Higgins was in the witness box, seeking copies of transcripts of Higgins’ evidence.Reynolds also suggested to Whybrow that texts, including those between Higgins and another former Reynolds staffer, Nicole Hamer, may be revealing to the defence.

Drumgold then questioned why Reynolds’ partner has been sitting in court, and asked Reynolds whether she had discussed the case with him.The court heard Reynolds was in Rwanda at the time of Higgins’ evidence.Reynolds has maintained that she did not have knowledge of Higgins’ allegations of rape in 2019.

Lying cow.

I wouldn’t put anything past the low life creatures !

The rules don’t apply to them 😠

Can't help themselves...

The ultimate piece of work!!

Coaching the defence, requesting a copy of Higgins’ testimony before delivering her own, and having her partner in the audience while Higgins gave her testimony…surely, SURELY, this amounts to contempt of court, at the very least. LindaReynolds LNPCrimeFamily
