For the past six months South Australian Police have been targeting speeding drivers in the Adelaide Hills with more than 13,000 motorists fined.

More than 13,000 drivers have been caught speeding in the Adelaide Hills over the past six months, including three drivers who were travelling more than 70kph over the speed limit.One driver was caught travelling 90kph over the speed limitPolice targeted speeding drivers across the Adelaide Hills during 'Operation Safe Hills' which ran from October 2 to April 26.

Within the six-month period, eight motorists were killed on Adelaide Hills roads and 57 people were seriously injured.
