Scott Morrison became the first former prime minister censured by Parliament. A day later, he's facing fresh pressure.

, finding Mr Morrison’s actions undermined trust in democracy, has strengthened his case.

The findings from an inquiry into Mr Morrison's actions by former High Court judge Virginia Bell were handed down last week.“It's important that I consider this material carefully and thoroughly for the benefit of all members,” he said. Mr Morrison conceded giving himself authority over the Treasury and home affairs portfolios was “unnecessary”, and said he welcomed the findings of the Bell inquiry. The highly secretive committee, made up of 13 MPs from across the political divide, is responsible for disciplining politicians.

Speaking to 2GB Radio on Thursday, Mr Dutton claimed Wednesday's censure motion was motivated by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese's "hatred" of his predecessor, accusing Labor of fixating on "silly games" as cost-of-living pressures mount."The government's been elected. There are lots of issues facing our country. That economic conditions are deteriorating.

Scott Morrison censured for secret ministries as motion passes parliamentThe former prime minister refused to apologise for secretly taking over five key cabinet posts, saying criticisms of his “entirely necessary” decisions are being made in the “calm of hindsight”. How poignant that this creep should represent an electorate named after a pox ridden paedophile pimp who spread syphilis across the Pacific and was summarily executed for his crimes, in a no consent, no treaties, bogus sovereignty, thieving, pretend Parliament. Not unexpected from someone who had to take empathy training, which clearly didn’t work. He appears to lack any insight. he should be forced to go with no pension. He's doing the Liberal party no favours by staying.

Scott Morrison becomes first former Australian prime minister to be censured by parliamentFormer PM claims he would have answered truthfully if asked about any of the secret ministries he held and repeated past defence of arrangements Bit rich to point fingers at them for wasting people's time. It would seem that only Bridget Archer who, of all the Libs and Nats MPs, understands and values government accountability and the pillars of Australian democratic government. It shows how posturing by the Libs and Nats is more about them and not about the Australian people.
