Scott Morrison to urge sharing of COVID-19 vaccine in his United Nations speech

Prime Minister Scott Morrison plans to tell members of the United Nations they have a "moral responsibility" to share any effective vaccine for COVID-19 with the world or face judgement from humanity.Mr Morrison will tell the UN General Assembly Australia has pledged to share with the world any discoveries made in its three local COVID-19 vaccine trials

The Prime Minister will also deliver pointed comments about China's heavily contested territorial claims in the Indo-Pacific, without mentioning China by name "Whoever finds the vaccine must share it. This is a global responsibility, and it's a moral responsibility, for a vaccine to be shared far and wide," Mr Morrison plans to tell the UNGA, according to a copy of his prepared remarks obtained by the ABC.

His remarks add that Australia has pledged to share with the world any discoveries made in its three local COVID-19 vaccine trials.The Australian Government has spent $6 million to help fund the research and development of potential vaccines from the Doherty Institute, the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the University of Sydney.

I will do my bit for the cause. I won't be taking my vaccine. Anyone want it? I've done my research and am well aware that 99% don't have any symptoms. Also I am not in an age group with any risk at all. I will have no risk from the side-effects of the vaccine either.
