Sky News host Peter Gleeson says being prime minister “must be one of the toughest gigs in the world,” yet despite a strong start “Scott Morrison is struggling”.

Mr Gleeson said “the bushfires were just the beginning” and the PM’s trip to Hawaii during the crisis will “scar Morrison’s tenure forever”. “The real job of the PM is to lead. To set the tone. To champion the big issues, to be a calming influence when things get tough,” he said.

Mr Gleeson said as the former CEO of Tourism Australia, Mr Morrison knows “how badly tourism is affected by such things”. “As state agencies are pulling out all stops to help tourism through this period, the feds have come up with nothing, and it’s not a good look,” he said. “It’s time Morrison gave an adequate response to this crisis.” Image: Getty

Peter Gleeson? Who cares what a Sky News host says? None have any credibility.

Finally you are starting to figure it out his days of Spin are nearly over.

Squeak Gleeson at his 'astute' best.

Morrison cheated his way into power and now doesn’t have anywhere near the ability to do his job. You people helped spread his bullshit image. Pathetic.

Getting elected is a strong start? 😚

WHY do think he's struggling.

Peter Gleeson is the reason so many are cancelling Foxtel subscriptions
