Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Opposition leader Anthony Albanese have spent the day casting their vote and visiting polling booths, in a last-minute attempt to swing undecided voters. The leaders of the major parties have cast their votes, saying they are not willing to call the election results as they wait to see what the Australian people decide.

"I've been here to stop this boat, but in order for me to be there to stop those that may come from here, you need to vote Liberal and Nationals today," he said after casting his vote in his electorate of Cook at the Lilli Pilli primary school. Prime Minister Scott Morrison with how to vote cards at the Laurimar Primary School on federal election day in Doreen, the seat of McEwen in Melbourne’s north, on Saturday."I want the aspirations of Australians to be realised and the way that occurs is by backing Australians in, not telling them how to live and what to do; and getting government in their face."

He said he wants to end "wedge politics" and declared: "I am here to change the country; that is what I am going to do". Labor starts with 68 seats, plus notionally the new Victorian seat of Hawke. The major parties will need 76 seats for a majority in the lower house.Closely watched will be the success of the teal independents, who have run a well-funded campaign on climate change, integrity and women's safety across a number of Liberal-held seats.

Hope he voted for Albo!

He also said he approached his job with humbly… are we really that stupid?!

Morrison has to have Jen assist him to put the paper in the box, because like he doesn’t hold a hose, he doesn’t hold a ballot form

Just sick in my mouth

Load of BS

Vote for the LNP. We can't risk the Greens getting any power or influence. They're bank rolled by billionaires, they don't even know what a woman is, they're going to destroy women's rights, the economy, our energy infrastructure & foreign relations. NO to the GREENS. auspol

He seems to have completely forgotten the only reason he wasn't deposed as leader was due to his very first action as leader of the party, which was to change the rules about leadership challenges while in power needing 2/3rd majority instead of a simple one.

Vote Time Prime Minister achieve again in Elections .

Using his daughters as advertising billboards. Hope he paid them the national minimum wage.

Scott Morrison rules out overturning assisted dying ban on territories, sparking Senate candidate fightThe Northern Territory and ACT remain banned from voting on legalising voluntary assisted dying and as of today, are the last jurisdictions without it. It's now erupted into an election issue. I thought Libs were into freedom of choice. NT and ACT should be allowed to vote on euthanasia. This is supposed to be a democracy. auspol What a catastrophe, religious political parasites telling citizens when and how people will die,a religion that allows lying and cheating, but demands citizens must die in the most horrible manner so a religious parasite can please his God of suffering and excruciating pain.
