The 14-year-old's naked and bloodied body was found in an abandoned farmhouse three days after her parents reported her missing. 9News

When investigators gave evidence during the trial, they said Boy B had originally told them he went to St Catherine Park, where the farmhouse is located, with Ana to discuss the crush.

The court was also shown CCTV footage of Ana and Boy B walking to the park and other footage of Boy A limping with blood on his face and clothes a short time later. The prosecution argued he got the injuries during a struggle with Ana at the farmhouse which is in St Catherine Park. A post mortem revealed Ana had significant injuries to her head and neck, as well as injuries concurrent with sexual assault.

The prosecution argued that Boy B helped murder Ana and knew what was going to happen to her when he lured her from her parent’s house.
