That same message was sent to 162 Western Australians in Bali, who had been supposed to fly home at 10.50am.Lucy and Paul Summers own a small business, and their children are upset their hard-working parents now won't get a break.On Friday, 50 Jetstar passengers bound for Melbourne were turned away at the gate after a mechanical issue forced their flight to first be cancelled, then downsized.With flights and accommodation, the family of four is now thousands of dollars out of pocket.
But the July school holidays is an extremely busy period, and the next available direct flight from Perth to Bali isn't until July 12, the second week of school holidays.
