What would be considered a rather mild day in Australia has had British people complaining of heatwave conditions, wondering whether it’s a sign of an impending climate apocalypse and streaming to the beach and diving straight into the sea to cool down.
The UK has sweltered, well not sweltered — perhaps just sweated a touch, through its two hottest winter’s day ever.
Haha how funny, as an ex Brit I can confirm that as soon as the temp hits 18c the beaches start filling up, the media say it’s scorching and Britain melts etc.......in 18c weather!!!!!!!
21c 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 what a heatwave
😂
MatthewBeayni hope you’re going ok. Stay strong
My god 21 degrees,Disgusting! How utterly absurd!! Try living in Australia at the moment and you'll know the real heat of hell. Pfffttt...
Spare me. Southern states of Australia to touch 40 degrees this next few days. We're all effected by climate change whether we accept it or not.
LukeDurham1 just checking you OK in the heatwave - take care mate
😂 😂 😂 😂 Hate to see them when it's 40 degrees Celsius...
Given that the daily average for this time of year is 7, 21 it is scarily hot. Just look around the globe now at the extreme weather, we should all be scared.
21 in winter is hot for the UK. What part of that is hard to understand? Just like 5 in winter is cold here but they think it is normal. The world is a big place and Australia isn’t the centre of the universe
Lol
21c, perfect weather, probably a little cold for my liking 😱
🤣🤣🤣meanwhile, in Melbourne 😰😰😰
I hope the brits survive the hot weather in the UK
😂😭😢
Lol, 21C.
21 degrees? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's all relative...if its only meant to be 9C or 10C that's 11C above the norm!
Oh the poor petals ..... 🌞🌞🌞
Sure am glad I’m not in Britain today. 29 in Sydney sure looks a lot nicer. Don’t wanna wear a jumper 😂😂😂
We had a 23 in July 2013 and have not been near that since! So stop the click bait scaremongering
This is framed like 'Oh those poms, bit hot eh' but the Brits have over 400 years of climate records and they had consecutively the two hottest Feb (height of winter) days on RECORD. They are having bushfires...this is just a taste of calamity
And as soon as it gets below 20 most Aussies look like they're going on a Polar expedition. Given the humidity they have give me 42 here over 28 there anytime
Hahaha....how utterly funny...21C heatwave !!! Wonder what the Brits call a 35C day. Here in down town Sydney 21C is just a mild pleasant day in the sun, even in winter!!
What about when Melbournian's whinge about how cold it is in winter. You will hear the whingeing here in Melbourne over the next three days and nights about how hot it is over 37 each day and close to 30 at midnight each night.
😂😂😂😂
😂🤣😂😁
NicoletteErasms Sort of funny if you like that sort of sarcasm. How about Aussies getting serious about tackling climate change instead.
It’s not a heatwave, it’s the sun.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Send help (not that Carlton Draught shite)
