The SBS Sydney newsroom was closed on Tuesday after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19.An SBS spokesperson said as a result of social distancing measures, the person had minimal contact with other employees in the office.Immediate close contacts have already been identified and are self-isolating, and SBS is continuing a more comprehensive tracing exercise.

"SBS is strictly complying with health and safety advice and protocols in response to this matter," the spokesperson said.
