What is the difference between this asylum seeker & all of the ever so patient asylum seekers on Nauru? Money vs poverty, plane vs boat, desperation vs desperation....

jennie_minyaka Nice!

There’s 8.5 million people with an identical problem living in PNG. Do we give all of them asylum as well. Where does the buck stop. No open borders policy for Australia.

Rahaf Mohammed al-Qunun

First safe country. Why Australia.

Some bullshit here. Why not get a direct flight to some country in the EU? It would be cheaper, faster and a direct flight.

WhosFibbing Is it genuine?

Why Australia

relpolfo She's 18, hardly a woman. But anyway You Go Girl!

hasn't anyone watched Home Alone the parents wanted to kill their son too

She’s detained by the Thai authorities because she violated the regulations, also the embassy doesn’t have the authority to stop anyone at the airport

What Thailand is doing is breaking every law known to humanity this girl needs desperate help

plz Help

Outsider_S1

This is now time for the Australian government to step up and do the right thing by this young woman and show the world that we will not be pushed around

Well seek asylum in Thailand now if she genuinely needs one.

This is why yes, you should support asylum seekers BUT be very careful of endorsing any cultural or religious practices just to try to be inclusive. These women are persecuted according to their family and government's beliefs, which need to be spoken out against. auspol

Bangkok really is becoming NOT the stop over if your are escaping the saudi regime

Fake news, see for yourself rahaf84427714

Seek asylum in Thailand!

What authority does a Saudi Embassy Official actually have at a Thai Bangkok airport? I would hope none!!!!

But I've been told that things like this don't happen in the Muslim community and they value women.

FatherBob She’s in Bangkok. She can seek asylum there.

Probably five eyes helped lead to her capture.

Is it true she would be killed by her family? Or is she just dreaming up a non existent threat that she should actually be facing? I would not deny her temporary asylum but i would want her to at least try to deal with her stuff

ScottMorrisonMP billshortenmp tanya_plibersek is there any way Australia can assist this person

She should've booked a direct flight to Manus

Please help Rahaf is at risk Saudi Arabia wants to return it to its family in Saudi Arabia will be imprisoned and killed rahaf84427714

Saudi? Is she indigenous Saudi? Or a non-indigenous Saudi born Caucasian immigrant or immigrant descendant pretending to be Saudi?

How could they find her in the airport and confiscate her ppt? This doesn’t make sense. We have Airport Officers who check on genuine visitors. An 18 year old Saudi woman travelling alone is suspicious. She’s not a genuine visitor and would have been refused boarding. auspol

FatherBob And Australia has border force and AFP watching these airports, they probably got her arrested

Good luck. I hope the world gets behind you

Why not go to a Muslim country ? Oh that’s right , it will be one day .

I have to admit that, based on actions over the last few years, I found myself wondering if the AFP or ASIO were involved.

Exactly the type of person who should be given asylum. Get her away from the nutcases who will kill her over their imaginary friend.

I need a nanny. Growing family in need. I’m a friend of mr Dutton. Does this help my cause?

How is Australia the 'nearest safe country' for a woman from Saudi Arabia?
