Australian Federal Government gives demonstration their inability to think and chew gum at the same time.

Wait till her 15 minutes of fame is over and she has to earn her own money. Odds are she will be home before Easter.

Happy for her. She chose Canada in the end

How many young aspiring people who are doing the right thing and waiting for their 'turn' in immigration camps, are now dissillusioned following the queue jumping process taken by the Saudi girl. So much attention sought and received, why?

I love how so many tweets on this issue across twitter find some way of criticising the LNP for this young women being granted asylum in Canada - like we lost some form of competition for her to live here. She’s going to live in a free and peaceful country- celebrate this.

ScottMorrisonMP you let Trudeau beat us 😢 auspol

The greens scared her off Australia.

Good to hear - good on Canada for a quick resolution - in contrast Australia- what were you doing Dithering idiots in power LNP

What a shame we lose a powerful and clever young woman to another country. Australia should be actively bringing innovative, resourceful and resilient people here instead of being a centre of mediocrity and decrying refugees and asylum seekers.

Bet she meets Justin cause he will want to be the hero and also another vote for him

Guess those topless protestors in Martin Place are starting to regret their decision ...

Surprised this 'Islam is bad!' govt didn't trip over itself to offer her asylum... And ashamed we didn't rush to offer protection. Ooh lucky for them, everyone was scrapping for her, for the virtue signal points. Now she can jump headlong into their welfare and onto tinder. You ho girl. Australia is so out of touch !

'Rahaf al-Qunun is going to start a revolution': Teen's plight highlights Saudi male guardianshipOpposition to Saudi Arabia's male guardianship system has been highlighted by an 18-year-old Saudi woman's flight from her allegedly abusive family. Lol. The future is masculine. No, your misdirection, rather than putting the spotlight on the method and number of executions in SArabia; 147 beheadings in 2017, but you won't talk about that because you want this here. She did fear for her own life, hardly the anodyne of guardianship. Maybe in the west. But for the east it puts a stoplight on spoiled overindulgence of rich kids and workaholic parents who prefer wealth to raising kids.

Australia considers visa for Saudi teen Rahaf al-Qunun after UN grants her refugee statusAustralia is considering granting a visa to Saudi teenager Rahaf al-Qunun after a United Nations agency found the 18-year-old detained at Bangkok airport is a genuine refugee. As long as she integrates and doesn't want to impose Sharia law in any form in Australia. She can of course introduce us to the many culinary delights of her culture. But hey, kill the beasts without cruelty. Australia was her “preferred” country in which to claim asylum. 😂 That actually makes her a migrant, not a refugee. Good news! I hope she'll be granted refugee status and can settle in to a new life in Australia.
