He has been charged with driving without a valid NSW licence and using an unregistered vehicle and will face court in May., during a heated argument about his children. The pair gave varying versions of the event at Mr Hooke's NSW Southern Highlands home in October 2019, after Burgess was told his visitation time had finished.
But both agreed the former South Sydney captain had said the visitation issue was "inhumane" before things escalated. Magistrate Robert Rabbidge found Burgess guilty of intimidation, recorded a conviction and placed him on a two-year good behaviour bond.
I feel sorry for his family & driving a car with no rego wtf on his way to pick his children up, glad the police got him before picking them up & not after, hope he gets some help putting his life back on track
