Slaughter escapee Daisy the cow is now udderly happy at new home.

Upon arriving at the truck transport yard at Port Augusta, more than 310 kilometres north of Adelaide, she appeared to have jumped off the truck.

It is estimated that the cow spent weeks wandering around Port Augusta before she was found and reported by Mr Ross. "She had a lot of skin off … so it was consistent with the injuries of coming off of one of the trucks," she said. Ms McKerlie said the team had to use a camera to zoom in on her identification tag because she was too wild.

'Pretty bloody hard': Local businesses in tears as another NSW dairy farm shuts downWith running costs out of control due to the pressure of the drought, a well-known dairy in north-eastern NSW has no choice but to close, and it's not just the farm workers who will feel the effects. Another farm for China to buy. We hear conflicting news that the dairy farmers didn't want a floor price on milk because it would then be that lowest price, but now this business is saying it wanted a floor price. What do dairy farmers want? We need them to stay in business. We pay more for bottled water and soft drink than milk. $3 for 375ml of sugar drink and $2 for 2l of milk. One sod all food value at over 5 times the price of milk. With concerns about kids nutrition, better refrigeration maybe bring back school milk.

Hey Daniel, please unblock me! You bring light to my life! 💕 Your 'Settled Science' sure is fickle ABC, it's almost like your trying to convince yourself, just like this 1989 UN Climate Report, which none of has come true. There's facts & then there's feelings. MMCC is a UN scam.

New bill introduced to lift genetically modified farming ban in SA | Sky News AustraliaThe South Australian government has introduced a bill to lift a ban on genetically modified farming across the state’s mainland.\n\nThe government announced in August its plan to lift a moratorium on genetically modified farming before the end of the year.\n\nLast week, the state’s primary industries minister Tim Whetstone tried to do this by issuing a ministerial regulation instead of changing legislation.\n\nLabor, the Greens and the SA Best Party blocked that move and accused the government of using a loophole and ignoring due parliamentary process.\n\nOn Tuesday the government tried again by introducing the bill to parliament.\n\nIt’s hoped lifting the ban across the mainland – but not Kangaroo Island – will make the state’s farms more competitive. Another massive blow for our Farmers. auspol A win for the right wing fat cats... Your boss Rupert at Sky will love it.
