Think the Israel Folau saga was bad news for Rugby Australia? This is worse....

News Corp Australia, majority owner of Fox Sports Australia and news.com.au, reported that after months of negotiations talks came to an end on Wednesday.RELATED:

“We are preparing to take the package to market early this month,” an RA spokesman told News Corp Australia. RA also made an undisclosed settlement, thought to be several million dollars, to former star player Israel Folau after he was sacked for social media posts ostracising homosexuals.New Zealand and South Africa confirmed their respective broadcasting partnerships through 2025 last year.

Australia failed to do so follow suit, with Rugby Australia boss Raelene Castle knocking back Fox’s original offer.

That’s what AR looks like in the mirror 💀

Ha ha ha. Castles is bad news

Get rid of the Goth!

Great news! It's about time.

Go woke go broke ....I dont think centrelink has virtue signalling as a job listing so good luck.

Rugbyau gained a mainstream profile when it raided the NRL signing marquee players like LoteTuqiri Mat_rogers6 RealBigDell TV numbers were inflated by casual league fans curious at how the converts would perform. Fascination didn't last long.

They deserve it!

Is Scotty from marketing working there as well?

Union is a crappy sport .. plain and simple

Bye bye Raelene, your time has passed !! And you Board Members at Rugby Australia, I hope you take a good long hard look at yourselves !! You’ve killed our game with your failed Castle experiment.

Rocky Horror Picture Show.

What a shock, news.com.au does everyhting to bag RugbyAU because they won't submit to a lower than market price, , Grow up News and join us in 2020!

GoWokeGoBroke

What a bunch of hyprocrips

Ran New Zealand netball into the ground, a complete disaster at Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs, and now has completely ruined Rugby Australia. When will these organisations learn? DumptheKiwi

She’s useless

She really is the Malcolm Turnbull of Australian Rugby 🤔

Someone else will pick it up.

Well maybe they should have just stuck to rugby ...

So the wig lady has rejected offer and now lost whole contract

Rugby has been a code in decline for years due to inertia. AFL and soccer have grown significantly in popularity, especially at the junior level while League has managed to maintain its popularity. Sadly, I can’t see a positive future for the code.

Murdoch spin. Fox axing Rugby or Rugby joining Optus who are not bleeding cash ?

Back the camera up!!! scary

No surprise she ruined the Bulldogs too

She has f&$ked everything she has touched.. maybe we should call her passion fingers ...

Union lost the plot years ago ... Even Gordon Bray struggles to know what’s going on with crazy nit picking rules that stop the flow of the game

ABC news reporting on this while showing highlights of rugby league!! Get it bloody right!

Castle is bad for Rugby Australia

Does anyone actually watch this rubbish Obviously not.

Locking sports away on pay platforms was always a loser. Car racing is coming back to Ten, F1 May follow after the current carpet baggers in charge leave.

After the fiasco with the force this is a good thing..

'That closeup of Castle helps my friends to express their measured opinions' 🇦🇺

Foxtel is slashing sports/presenters left and right. The Woelabies and poor performance of Aussie Super teams has resulted in this. Can't blame Raelene for Cheika poor performances

I guess when you go woke you will get broke is quite true

Surely castle must be removed. She is useless. Please. Anyone.

Not good for Foxtel either.
