The family of a man who went missing from a Victorian campsite has revealed the last contact he made with them before he disappeared. Steven Clough, 58, was camping at Skipworth Reserve in Kevington when he was last seen at 2pm Friday before heading on a dirt bike ride at Mount Terrible. His daughter Sonia held her mother Tammy at a press conference on Sunday and recalled her dad sounding happy and excited when she last spoke to him on the phone the day before he went missing.
” That’s precisely why when Clough failed to reply to any of their messages on Friday, it triggered “a lot of shock and a lot of stress,” Sonia said. Search efforts began on Saturday morning, and about 20 community volunteers have also joined the multi-agency response. “The community has been amazing. They’ve been really strong and really supportive,” Sonia said. “Everybody out there searching, we’re so thankful for them.
