Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews says the “rolling flood event” facing Victoria is different from others the state has previously faced, presenting a “unique challenge”.

“We’ve still got the Murray to peak, we’ve still got a number of communities that haven’t peaked yet, and we’re

going to get more rain off that higher base so that’s going to present really significant challenges,” Mr Andrews said.

If you look at the past 15 years he is correct. The reality is that it is severe not extreme. It is rare but not unique.

Why doesn't dictator Dan walk through the flooded streets and meet all the flood effected residents? He sits back and just speaks words from Spring Street. Get out there Andrews and show some empathy.
