A rock fisherman has died after he was swept into the ocean on the NSW South Coast in the middle of the night.
The man, believed to have been a Chinese national, was washed off a rock at Marsden Head in Kiama, near the Little Blowhole, shortly before 2am on Sunday.Credit:Officers from Lake Illawarra Police District and NSW Ambulance were notified and attended.A police spokeswoman said the man was not wearing a lifejacket and was unable to swim.He was taken to Wollongong Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
