Wait for Microsoft to come out with the Surface Pro 11 Copilot+ PC. It will address both those problems, and much more.Of course, I didn’t know I was saying that at the time. The Surface Pro 11 is only new – we’ve had it here in the Digital Life Labs less than a week, together with its big sister, the Surface Laptop 7 – and little did I know how good they would both turn out to be.
Only, the Surface Pro 11 is much more than a MacBook, especially when you pair it with the Surface Pro Flex Keyboard with Slim Pen, as we did for this review.pair it with the keyboard and pen, otherwise the Surface Pro 11 makes little sense as a device. Our single biggest gripe with this machine is that Microsoft doesn’t include those essentials in the box, but charges a whopping $770 for them!)
It’s how I’ve got the Surface Pro 11 set up as I write this, and aside from some occasional glitches where external monitors can show up with the wrong resolution when you first attach them it’s the single best docked-laptop experience I’ve ever had. Running on that NPU, Windows 11 has dozens of different AI models, some for generating and editing text, some for generating and editing images, all without the need to go out onto the internet and access services such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
