Sky News host James Morrow says NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet in a recent speech has indicated a “return” to the “philosophical roots” seen at the start of his premiership.

Mr Perrottet on Wednesday at the Western Sydney University called for “more reading, writing and arithmetic, and less puppetry politics and wearable art”.

“And I don’t want classrooms focused on superfluous and inherently divisive political issues that distract from the core subjects and skills that our children need to learn,” he said. Mr Morrow also praised Mr Perrottet for rejecting Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk’s land tax scheme, which was scrapped on Friday.

“This is the sort of … course Dom Perrottet needs to steer for the next several months through to that election if he wants to keep the Coalition in power in New South Wales,” Mr Morrow said.

‘As bad as its gets’: Joe Biden slips up againFormer White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney says this is “as bad as it gets” after President Joe Biden recently asked where a deceased colleague was during a conference. President Biden was seen asking where Republican congresswoman Jackie Walorski was in the room despite her dying in a car accident earlier this year. “This one is not fixable, and I think the only way to sort of prevent this from becoming top of the issue of the 2024 re-elect if Biden starts to run again is to try and bury it,” Mr Mulvaney told Sky News host James Morrow. He also sent an official WH invite to the composer Mozart and NERO then insisted on blowing up Germany's Nord Stream pipeline to stop the German people from insisting it reopens inline with democratic principles

Far-left protesters attempt to storm CPAC AustraliaActivist groups have tried to enter Sydney’s International Convention Centre to protest against the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). The activists who claimed to be representing groups ‘Community Action for Rainbow Rights’ and ‘Campaign against Racism and Fascism’ attempted to enter the convention centre ahead of former UKIP Leader Nigel Farage’s address to the conference. The two-day event in Sydney’s Darling Harbour is hosting conservative speakers with current and former elected officials from Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. Speakers included Sky News Australia’s Rita Panahi, Rowan Dean and James Morrow, current and former politicians including Tony Abbott and Senators Jacinta Price and Matt Kanavan, and former Brexit campaigner and GBNews host Nigel Farage. Why🤷🏼‍♂️ don’t give it promotion The right loves people being in places they shouldn’t be in, so I’m sure this is fine. The world as the Left sees it is only black and white.

Palaszczuk scraps land tax schemeSky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says on Friday, Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk dumped an idea to 'gather data from other states' to 'tax property investors investing in Queensland if they had interstate properties'. “New South Wales Premier Dominic Perrottet had already said publicly that he would not be handing over New South Wales data,' Mr Clennell said. He said Mr Perrottet told Ms Palaszczuk, ‘if you want to increase tax, tax your own people, not mine’. “The measure was only worth $20 million a year in any case.” How did you guys get a politician to not pursue a means to milk the peasants of more of their money? That's unheard of. Also because states with more common sense told her to get fck’d
