25/01/2020Sky News contributor Bruce Wolpe says Republican senators are making "a full-court press" to see US President Donald Trump's impeachment trial wrap up by "this time next week" as Democrats push to have John Bolton testify as a witness.

Mr Wolpe said President Trump does not want "impeachment hanging over him" while he speaks to media during the traditional NFL Super Bowl interview. "Tuesday is the State of the Union. He doesn't want to face the Congress with impeachment hanging over him," he said.
