I remember the subway, so cosy in winter and cool in Summer rather than the Bourke st end that is now open to the elements of freezing rain and hot northerlies, even the escalator gets rained on. It's stupidly designed and horrible.
Even of metrotrains / ptv_official dont open the tunnel all the way out to little collins, at least open it so people can move between platforms to working escalators...
God at the very least, lock the broken escalator and let people use it as stairs (one way) in peak time if they want.
