Ghislaine Maxwell's lawyers say her chance of a fair trial on criminal charges she aided Jeffrey Epstein's sexual abuse of girls could be destroyed by substantial negative publicity if a deposition she gave four years ago is publicly released.

Ghislaine Maxwell's chance of a fair trial on criminal charges she aided Jeffrey Epstein's sexual abuse of girls could be destroyed by substantial negative publicity if a deposition she gave four years ago were publicly released, her lawyers said. Her lawyers said she was promised confidentiality when the deposition was made

Ms Maxwell's deposition was taken in April 2016 for a now-settled civil defamation lawsuit against the British socialite by Virginia Giuffre, who said Epstein kept her as a "sex slave" with Ms Maxwell's assistance. The lawyers also said an unsealing would cause irreversible and unconstitutional negative publicity and undermine the "truth-seeking function" of Ms Maxwell's trial by leading witnesses to "recast their memories of events from decades ago".

Sure ABC, cover the trial but you’re gonna ignore this...

Which means she is as guilty as hell!

Because she massively incriminates herself ?

The US justice system sinks fast into the mire that is lies and corruption.

Race to save life of fierce Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny after suspected poisoningAlexei Navalny is battling for his life in a Siberian hospital after a suspected poisoning as Germany prepares to dispatch an air ambulance to bring him to Europe for treatment. Obviously he was poisoned because someone out there doesn't want him to win the election. Outrageous that SBS publish this tale without a blush, when the cause of his illness has not been diagnosed. Putin dunnit again no doubt. Utterly shameless 'reporting'. Silencing critics by poison is the MO. Blatant.
