Queensland LNP Leader DavidCrisafulli says the state government's plan of moving hotel quarantine from the cities to the regions won't 'fix' the fault with hotel quarantine - as its problem is due to substandard systems - not its location.

Queensland LNP Leader David Crisafulli says the state government's plan of moving hotel quarantine from the cities to the regions won't "fix" the fault with hotel quarantine - as its problem is due to substandard systems - not its location.

"Why would you say that the only way to fix hotel quarantining is to pick it up from one part of Queensland and put it in another," he told Sky News host Chris Kenny "that's not fixing the problem - the problem exists because their systems in place aren't up to standards."
