"At the end of July, we saw the number of people caught speeding in school zones reach more than 150 per cent above the pre-lockdown average. While there has been some improvement, there are still far too many drivers doing the wrong thing now." "Drivers need to be aware that some students are still going to school, so it's crucial they remain aware when travelling through school zones to help protect some of our most vulnerable road users," Mr Toole said.
