Rally against men's violence to be held in Ballarat after deaths of Samantha Murphy , Hannah McGuire and Rebecca Young as criminal psychologist weighs in on crisis

Picture: Sissy Austin And most recently, 23-year-old Hannah McGuire was allegedly murdered by her ex-partner, Lachlan Young - who allegedly drove her body into the bush and burned her remains.
"I would say it's scandalous and it’s a national emergency- it seems year in, year out we're reading about these murders - they’re not going down they’re escalating," he said. Criminal psychologist Tim Watson-Munro told Sky News Australia the rise in violence against women was because too many men view women as their"chattels".
